One Church, One Child of Oklahoma is a nationally recognized special recruitment program designed to find adoptive and foster parents for African - American children. It provides an organized method of reaching out to the community through the churches and other organizations to explain the adoption and foster care needs of African-American children.

 | | You must be in good health | | | |
|
|

|
|
 | | Sufficient income to meet | | | household expenditures
|

 | | Sufficient bedroom and space to | | | accommodate additional child/children
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 | | Own a working vehicle and | | | telephone
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 | | No history of alleged or | | | confirmed child abuse, neglect or sexual abuse
|

|
|
|
|
 | | Willing to attend twenty-seven | | | (27) hours of resource family training
|
|
|
|
|
 | | The ability to understand, | | | love, and care for a child you did not birth
