Life of A Child - Adopt or Foster
One Church, One Child of Oklahoma is a nationally recognized
special recruitment program designed to find adoptive and foster
parents for African - American children.  It provides an organized
method of reaching out to the community through the churches and
other organizations to explain the adoption and foster care needs
of African-American children.
You must be 21 years of age or
older
You must be in good health
Sufficient income to meet
household expenditures
Sufficient bedroom and space to
accommodate additional
child/children
Own a working vehicle and
telephone
No history of alleged or
confirmed child abuse, neglect
or sexual abuse
Willing to attend twenty-seven
(27) hours of resource family
training
The ability to understand,
love, and care for a child you
did not birth
