The target population for these curricula is grandparents who are raising their grandchildren.  
Reason
Goals
The Time Around-Grandparents as Parents Support Group recognizes that, for caregivers, the
extraordinary responsibility of raising children of kin is both emotionally and financially draining.  It is
our hope to provide assistance to caregivers by:
Sharing information and resources; targeting the special needs of grandparents who are parenting
for the second time.   
Helping grandparents navigate the child welfare system.
Preparing parents to deal with the unique characteristics of children in care (relatives included)
Assisting grandparents with the changing of their role from grandparent to primary care-giver.
